There are a lot of different types of car insurance quotes to pick through when you actually make that step. I recently had to do a project in which I was to calculate the national average for all of the different types of insurance available to Americans. I was of course interested most by the auto insurance because it allowed me to both get school work done as well as get some helpful research done for my own finances. I have been driving for five years now and I had never really thought about looking around for any new plans. Now I see that upon some fairly simple yet tedious research, a person can save themselves a lot of money on auto insurance.
For the project I was to find the national average for each type of insurance cost. I did this through a long process of running through the quotes programs for all of the different types of auto coverage. I found the antique auto insurance quotes to be the lowest of all of them since these cars are supposed to be driven very little and are actually only covered for a certain number of miles each month. The commercial vehicle insurance had a lot of variance depending on the amount of use the driver expected and what they would be carrying. It got really tricky when it came to exactly what they would be towing if it were a large scale operation. The only one that sort of surprised me was the RV insurance because I thought it would have been a lot higher than it actually was. Of course all of these policies were different based on every little factor put in the system, but the averages were pretty solid.
After I did all of my research I actually changed my auto insurance plan from one major company, who shall not be named, to another. I didn't think the service was any better, but the price was a significant difference for the same coverage. I would imagine that a lot of people would be able to save a lot of money this way if they would just take the time to do some boring research
