Okay Yellow Seeks a Video Production Intern

Okay Yellow is looking for an energetic, talented intern to join our Video Production team. This internship provides the opportunity to work in most aspects of video making including pre-production, production and post-production. Some of the tasks that will be required and learned are:

- Producing
- Logistics
- Scheduling
- Storyboarding
- Copywriting
- Setting up lighting
- Camera operation
- Sound production
- Sound engineering
- Timeline creation
- Editing
- Graphic design/motion graphics

Okay Yellow is a creative agency that produces advertising and branding campaigns. We work on video production projects both locally and regionally. We are based in Charlottesville, VA.

This internship is unpaid and will begin early September 2009 and run through December 2009.

Seeking college or graduate student interested in working for James River
Writers, www.JamesRiverWriters.org, an intrepid literary non-profit
organization that hosts workshops, poetry slams, social events, and a writers
conference in Richmond, VA.

Applicants should be self-motivated, extroverted, and Mac savvy. Duties vary
from managing the JRW Facebook and Twitter accounts, assisting with the
monthly Writing Show (every last Thursday), to data entry, proofreading,
publicity, writing and reporting, depending on skill level.

Great opportunity to work closely with published authors and journalists.
Network while learning writing and publishing from the inside track. Unpaid.
Will meet requirements for course-credit internships. Satellite office at Main
St. & Foushee St., three blocks from VCU School of Business.
