joanne is a generous and sweet lady who is a single mother and adopted a chinese little girl. she hugged me right after we waved to each other. that behavior reminded me of my mom. she is a intelligent and patient woman who is always there and teaches me right from wrong. we had our dinner at one of the lady's house. the house is not that huge but full of warmth and happiness. the chinese little introduced her bedroom. toys , clothes and shoes decorated the blue-colored room. wondering she is a big fan of FINDING NEMO ^_^ and then we played cards, chatted and took photos. everything was just great. it started to rain so we had to wait~~~~ joanne told me that nowadays single mother is not allowed to adopt any child. she felt so lucky to have Emma. joanne might would never know what a great thing she had done to change Emma's fate. in china, a huge percentage of girl orphans are abandoned by their parents. coz they are born in rural area and their parents are not that better off to raise them. besides, in rural area girls some times don't get the equal treatment and education. most of the time, their parents decide to abandon them. so because of you,emma is really a lucky girl!:) really feel thankful and grateful to have you once appearing in my life. remember to come to beiijing. see u in 2008~~

we go to mike's home again. this time, i see a real party. in the middle of the living room, there lies a pool which is full of milk and noodles. and two men are rustling crazily in it. mike comes over and say hello to us. "beer, water and milk?" FAINT! "WATER IS FINE~~~" he is such a cute guy that people mess up everything in his house. but he just becomes much happier. i really do not think he had memorizing functions. every time he sees us, he waves and says hello. Ted is also a funny and crazy guy. with noodles all over his body, he is wandering around like a ghost. Brian jokes: wanna hug these nice Chinese girls? Ted goes:"everybody gets a hug." then our four hug together. hahahahah ~~~~

is that you?!! how did your find my blog ? unbelievable. i miss u soooooo much. u've promised me to cook yummy meals for me. do not forget that!!! is it hot in hunan? us is so much cooler than that in beijing. how is your summer holidays? yeah, we really had a great time here. maybe i would not fit in the life in beijing now. hahahah ,, never mind. anyway, i am going back. on saturday, we will head for new york. and we have figured out that we have almost 10 scenery spots to check out. kinda busy,right~^_^ besides, i have to finish my 4-paged paper before leaving Richmond. wo ke shi chou chu bao gui de shi jian gei ni zhuan mei xie de blog o! gan dong ba!!^_^ tonight we are gonna to visit an american couple. they travelled beijing in may. hahahaha ~~~~~ do u miss me?!!

Matt broke his knee. hope he will be fine soon. and i did call to express our best wishes. but i am wondering how did he break his knee in new york. anyway, he is a responsible intern.^_^

i saw Matt yesterday. he is better now! ^_^ yesterday i was very happy. sun and i went to visit an American old couple. the place they live in is quite far away from our dorm. so i had to call Matt to give us a ride. i know that he must be very tired to drive us there especially after hanging out with other students for 3 hours. thank u !:) when we arrived and stood at the door, Matt asked "how old are this couple?" really like a brother~~~^_^ pretty old 65. this couples welcomed us and gave us a quick tour guide of their house. they went to china this year in may and took a lot of beautiful pictures there. and they shared a lot of interesting stories with us. a beijing boy called sunshine was their tour guide. and this couple liked him a lot. and we've promised them to send gifts to sunshine when we are back in china. sunshine wants to find a girl who were born in the year of rabbit. accidentally, i was! never mind~~~ we've learned that the cute old man was a professor of medical school in vcu. superman! at the time, Matt came in.maybe he just wanna check out and make sure that everything was ok. he had a fine talk with the couple. and we found out that he was a local but did not know a lot places around. FAINT!~~~ KIDDING :) then we had dinner with them. i ordered chicken livers ~~yummy really a lot of stuff. Mrs. Battisat told us that if we had any problems or questions, just did not bother to call her. we will :) bye, thank u for everything:)
ps: dear coiny, i really miss u!!! i did not tell mom to give your the blog address. but you know mom is a superwoman.hahahahah!~~~ so happy to see your comments in my blog. baochi o! i can see chinese, but can not type in cinese characters. really excited to see those familiar chinese words from u!!! hahaha~~~~ have a good summer. wait for me, ok?!!

I can not express what a joy it was to have met you both. It was an honor.
I felt such a connection to you both right away! I was so grateful that my
daughter got to meet you and talk to you and your friends. I want her to be
very proud of her heritage and meeting such lovely young women , as
yourselves , will make that possible.
My only regret is that we did not get to see more of you . We would have
loved to have you stay with us for the whole weekend.
I hope you have a wonderful time in the US and continue your studies while
travelling the world!

today we have a writing workshop. thanks to God that i finished it. my topic is war and media!such a big topic. on the way to the hibbs hall, Matt asked if he could read my paper first. guess why? coz i am the most intelligent one. genius gets privilege. hahahaha```````` KIDDING. he says he like my paper. really hope he tells the truth and say that from the bottom of your heart. recently, i have found Matt is such a patient and generous guy. he is really very patient while revising my paper. and gave me lot of structural advises. dan rather ann coulter~~~~ see, i can remember their names. hahaha win girls! after that, he even lend me his laptop. wanna me to kill time or search the two guys~~~ anyway, he is so sweet. thank u:) really hope you do the "homework" at home and take a map with u whiling we are in the big apple!hahahaah~~~~
