VCU Artists Contribute to Good Cause
ART 180, a Richmond group which provides art-related programs to young people living in challenging circumstances, is having a benefit at Main Art Gallery through August 28.
Artists who have donated work include Matt Lively, BFA Sculpture '93, Janet DeCover, Painting and Printmaking '72, Heide Trepanier, Painting and Printmaking MFA '00, Sandra Luckett, Painting and Printmaking MFA '01, Nicole Andreoni, Lindsey Gerner, Communication Arts '05, and Mary Melton.
All proceeds from sales of the work go to ART 180, whose involvement with youth encourages personal and community change through self-expression.

Main Art Gallery is located at 1537 W. Main Street. Call 355-6151 for information.
Made up entirely of two-dimensional work, it is heavily weighted toward works on paper, including monotypes, laser prints and graphite. Work from approximately 40 artists will be exhibited and available for purchase.
