It's not exactly arts news, but noteworthy nonetheless. Earlier this week, Joe Seipel and friends on the Skiligal emptied the Outer Banks waters of its largest inhabitants. The Skiligal's captain is Tom Ross, a native Richmonder and '81 VCU alumnus.
