Blackboard Status (Sat. Feb. 14, 2009 6:30am)

The Blackboard (Bb) system is down due to a problem with a patch to the database operating system that occurred during the regularly scheduled maintenance on Friday night (Feb 13, 2009). We do our best to test patches before they are applied by installing them on two different Bb environments (development and test). The application of the patch was successful in the Bb development and test environments but acted differently when applied to production.

The data is fine, but we are working on restoring the operating system.
