Bb Maintenance and Upgrade Schedule for March, April and May 2008
March 28 – 4pm to midnight – Regularly Scheduled Maintenance
April 11 – 4pm to midnight – Regularly Scheduled Maintenance
April 28 – 4pm to midnight – Regularly Scheduled Maintenance
May 16 – 4pm to TBA - Blackboard will be upgraded from the current version of 7.1 to 7.3. Please note this is the third Friday of the month. There will no maintenance planned for the second and fourth Friday of the month in May.

April 8 & 9 –Technology Fair - iPods will be given away! Come Visit the Blackboard Team
The Technology Fair will be April 8 on the Monroe Park Campus in the Student Commons from 10am to 2pm and April 9 on the MCV Campus in the Tompkins-McCaw Library from 10am to 2pm. Lunch will be available both days. The Blackboard Team will have a table at the Fair, please stop by and let us know how you are using Blackboard.


April 23 & April 24 Bb User’s Group
The Bb User’s group will meet on April 23 & 24 and Sheila Chandler will give a short presentation on the upgrade from version 7.1 to 7.3 that is scheduled on May 16. Registration is not required but would be appreciated.

If you use the My Organization Plus module in Blackboard it has been upgraded. The upgrade process did remove the module from your view under the My Blackboard tab. To put it back do the following:

1. Log in to Blackboard
2. Click on My Blackboard tab
3. Click on Modify Content (near top of screen on right)
4. Check My Organization Plus
5. Click Submit

If you have not used this module and you are a leader in an Organization it adds functionality for adding users to your Organization. Follow instructions above to add the module, if you would like to check it out.
