A recent report by the London School of Economics and Political Science, funded by the Wellcome Trust, describes the background and current activity of Public Private Partnereships (PPPs). The new landscape of neglected disease drug development defines a PPP as “public health driven not-for-profit organisations that drive neglected disease drug development in conjunction with industry groups”.
