Tobacco Legislation

The media have reported several aspects of trying to regulate Tobacco use. As usual in politics, it appears that the perception of "doing something" is more important than regulation based on science. There is no gold standard for evaluation of tobacco and its myriad components that compares to evaluation of therapuetic drugs. Congress is setting the FDA up for a fall.
