Eighty percent of high school students and 44 percent of middle school students attend “drug-infested” schools where they have personally witnessed illegal drug use, illegal drug dealing, illegal drug possession, and students drunk or high at school, according to the 12th annual back-to-school survey conducted by The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA) published this month.
