Preventive Health Examinations in the United States

A study reported in todays Archives of Internal Medicine, states that "No consensus exists on the appropriate content of preventive visits and that most counseling services occurred outside the annual physicals" The surveillance shows that while physicians talk about the value of prevention, few practice it, despite effectiveness when used.
