High IQ Linked To Reduced Risk Of Death

Another headline from ScienceDaily today reflects one more study that is less about high IQ than that the higher the quality of education the less likely one is to die early from violence and chronic diseases. . Comment: This type of study has been repeated enough that we should focus more on education outcome than on repeating the same research again and again. The President has it correct in recommending that teachers in schools be retained based on productivity rather than longevity, and that poor performing schools should be replaced rather than just saying the children won't learn.
