Bad Apple Karma...

Well it seems that now my iPod is offically dead, and the warrenty won't cover it... well b/c of what happened to it..

oh man i the girl beside me is farting really bad, or a has a really strong case of BO.. it smells alot
.. anyways yeah so now i think i have to save up my money and buy another iPod... most likely a 30 GB. perhaps it has to do with the fact that i bought a sony vaio laptop instead of an apple laptop, ha... but we'll see now won't we...

my project isn't really going anywhere either... i'm sitting and thinkin on what i could do, or where i could go with it, but nothing. man i dont what's wrong it me ha... but i should feel some what threatened by it, ha

anyways' im' out, oh yeah i'm so happy for my MamaJi, term for uncle in Punjabi, he did it! yeaa, i think so i may have misunderstood him on the phone... thank you again Baba Ji =)

Sikhi Wedding

well lets see....

today i helped bhai sahib jee, with a wedding at Gurdwara. There was this couple from NC that got married in Richmond Gurdwara. THere was one interesting thing about them hehe, well the bride is a punjabi sikh gal and the boy is a white christian, so yea it was an inter-racial/religious marriage. And well the Husband is 6'3 i'd say and he had this Double Paunee-Puggari on, a Maroon one. and he looked soo handsome in it, i'd swear if he had alil dhaari you'd swear that he was a punjabi.

And well when Bhai Sahib Ji was doing keertan, i was doing Chaau- Seva, and well i'd occasionally look at the bride and groom, and i Noticed he, the groom, had a really intense pair of blue eyes...

or it may have been, that i noticed his intensity as he looked at SatGuru Ji, and listened to SatGuru's Keertan.... But when i was doin' Naam Simran, i envisioned that the couple's children, will learn about their mother's faith of Sikhi, and will wanna i guess follow it. and the children will bring the mother back to sikhi.... its odd i dont know why i had that feeling inside..

I think interfaith marriage are "intriguing" also they aren't very fair to the child, i should know b/c i'm a product of one hehe, in some cases it works but in other cases it has bleaker results... It's also Waheguru's Hukam, God's Command, to what happens.. no need to question but accept.

dont get me wrong, the Husband did seeem like a great guy, and his Family seemed keen on religion and practicing. They also seemed very intriguied on the Sikh way of worship... i know they'll have questions. Also the Groom and the Groom's family seemed to have more Prem for God, than the Bride and Bride's family...

But i'm not too sure on that one, and forgive me if i offended.... take care

PS, i guess you are wondering why i have this Bani posted Below?

Without meditating and vibrating on the Lord, they are crying out in pain. Their bodies are cursed, and their wealth is cursed - they are imbued with Maya. ||1||Pause|| -Guru Arjan Dev Ji Ang 179

Its because well i mean hehe i guess i haven't been strict with my Sikhi and Nitnem, andi guess i've gotten really attached to maya... Hence guess i'm goin' through 'crappy' times.. but its funny how we always seem to notice the Bad Times over the Good. Odd isn't it... but i know these rough times will pass hehe, but i guess these hard times, are to help a person get stronger

some more bani too look at
He has applied the whip of the Lord's Love to my body. Applying the whip of the Lord's Love to his body, the Gurmukh conquers his mind, and wins the battle of life. - Guru RaamDas
If you hold back, then I shall strike you with the whip of spiritual love. ||2|| - Bhagat Kabeer Ji

so i guess i could tell you all that i'm being hit with a "Whip of Spirtual Love", hehe that may be alot of things, whether an iPod screen breaks... or i guess ruinin' ur friend's b-day, gettin' in trouble, havin' lots of work, and not havin' Guru Ji's kirpa...

lol this is gettin' way too long.. peace

what am i still doing up

Sadly i have No idea what i'm doing rite now... up that is...

..sigh..

atleast i have something to show for it... ha...Who am i Kidding i made these "buttons" for the Side Panel Under Links... i dont know if make the page look good or not.. prolly too much "Eye" Traffic or BUmbaarDMent

Quote by Yogi Bhajan

I found this quote on Mr. Sikhnet's blog, or another blog he started

"They may look like Sikhs of the Guru, but their heart is not for the Guru. You can call them anything; they are chips of the same block. Their dedication is not towards the Guru, their dedication is to their personal glorification and personal earthly power." - Siri Singh Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji

granted this isn't from Gurbani, but if you really think about it... it makes you wonder what our priorities are... sure we may say oh we are born in a Sikh household hence we pledge ourselves to our Guru Ji, but well when its time for Paath , we say ehh the heck with it, i'll just do it on sunday... actually enough of a rant, the quote speaks loud enough as it is...

but i think largely Yogi Bhajan was speakin' about mainly Punjabi Sikhs, i'm aloud to say that b/c i'm punjabi. but if you look at us, Punjabi sikhs, we really haven't been solely dedicated to Guru Ji. It fairly obvious if you think about it, i mean our parents moved us away from the Native Lands of Punjab to America, the land of "Opportunity". ... opprotunity for Maya hehe, there isn't really much opportunity for Sikhi, well now i wonder see what sikhi be in 3 generations, in America that is... amongst the "punjabi Sikhs"?

we, punjabi sikhs, say that Sikhi is accepting, but we aren't too accepting lol, i mean we aren't accepting of our non-punjabi sikhs.... on the language barrier and other fronts too..

i apologize if this was offensive, but perhaps it may have awaken the rite person

New Club Shirt Design

Ok so here is the new Back of the Club shirt, well i changed it for some high schoolers... and now they dont like it. but hey ha! its not that bad now that i look at it. ihope the rest of the club digs it.. ook fateh

now bout the club shirts

sO at Gurdwara, i showed the new design to Balraj, Naveen and Nikki. and they said they couldn't wear the club shirts b/c the'd get in trouble at their school, what a lame reason, so well i spoke to sunmi tand well we decided to change the design.. and so no longer is it controversial, but i wonder if it'll still be "CooL"nuff to wear, ya know.... =(
I hope you 3 enjoy it boo to you all be so young.. i tihkn they could get away with it, they' be liek what!?! yeah thats bout it, but shirts should be in... in bout 2 days hopefully, and also Sunmit if you are reading this, you Rock!

iPOd no more

so i guess it happ.. my iPod is officially busted or the screen is....
and Apple won't replace it... boo... so iguess its a massive ipod Shuffle now...
i guess i didn't realize how much i was truely addicted to my ipod until it broke. I guess that attachment got really out of hand. I guess a way for all of to check how truely attacted to our material things is to ask ourselves once in a while = "How upset would i be if this broke?" and if it comes out to be alot... you should "Check yourself". and it really puts things in to perspective.

so why is Gurbani not recognized?

OK so well today in class, i was just randomly typing the word "Bible" in to the SikhitotheMax, program, and up came a really interesting shabad.. you wouldn't believe what Guru Nanak Dev Ji wrote...
well here is the shabad....
baanee brehumaa baedh athurubun kurunee keerath lehiaa
path vin poojaa suth vin sunjum juth vin kaahae junaeoo
naavuhu dhovuhu thiluk churraavuhu such vin soch n hoee
the kal puruvaan kuthaeb kuraan pothee punddith rehae puraan
naanuk naao bhaeiaa rehumaan kar kuruthaa thoo eaeko jaan
naanuk naam milai vaddiaaee eaedhoo oupar kurum nehee
jae ghar hodhai mungan jaaeeai fir oulaamaa milai thehee

The Guru's Bani has taken the place of Brahma's Veda, and the singing of the Lord's Praises are good deeds. ||5||
Worship without faith; self-discipline without truthfulness; the ritual of the sacred thread without chastity - what good are these?
You may bathe and wash, and apply a ritualistic tilak mark to your forehead, but without inner purity, there is no understanding. ||6||

In Kali Yuga, the Koran and the Bible have become famous.
The Pandit's scriptures and the Puraanas are not respected.
O Nanak, the Lord's Name now is Rehmaan, the Merciful.
Know that there is only One Creator of the creation. ||7||
Nanak has obtained the glorious greatness of the Naam, the Name of the Lord. There is no action higher than this.
If someone goes out to beg for what is already in his own home, then he should be chastised. ||8||1||
Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Now its really interesting how Guru Nanak Dev Ji actually wrote that in this dark age of Kal Yuga, that well firstly Gurbani will replace the Vedas.. thas like whoaa... and secondly how Guru Ji straight up states that The Bible and Kuran will be most recoginized, yet i find this odd in the sense that well if you look at the writing of Bhagat Kabir he says that one really does not need the Vedas or Samitic Scriptures, aka Bible/Koran, to reach Waheguru...
but back to the first point about Gurbani replacin' Hindu scripture..... that reminds me something that the Bhai Sahib JI told me, that In the Vedas, Guru Nanak Dev JI is actually mentioned... That in this dark age of Kali Yuga God will have mercy upon the World and send NANAK, i dont know the exact phrase in sanskrit.. but i know that in the vedas that since creation is divide in to 4 yugas - Sat Yuga, Dharma Yug, Drith YUg, and Kali Yuga., that God sends a Prophet/messenger to save humanity... First being Vishnu, Ramthen krishna, well i'm not too sure, sorry if i mixed up the wrong Avtaar for the wrong age... but how ever finally for Kal Yug, God sent Guru Nanak Dev JI =) and if you well think bout its like whooaa... hehe .. theres much more contriversy in this post, but i'll refrain..

"clothes of the Future"

Yesterday i had a sweet experience with Guru Ji's Roop, hehe or Khalsa Bana, i think...

ok so well yesterday at tea time, in Dr. Edward's office... Kathy had brought one of those World Radios, that has 6-9 bands of different Frequencys... any ways for a while there was tons of static, and not too much "radiO" on the air. So i decided to put my "Kara" hand near the antenna, and what do ya know.... We got Signal, really good signal, we weren't too sure where it was from but we think it was from far away. then i tired my other hand, but it didn't work quite as good. but Kathy said " Wow GP, you are a great conducter!" hehe what can i say...

but it makes you wonder, well those of yall in Guru Ji's Bana hehe of Kesh and the four other Divine Kakkars. Granted we wear them, but it makes you wonder what other things they do, on the other planes/fields of existence, the electromagnetic field, the Astro-physical, and many more... but i mean these Kakkars are on the wearer at all times, but it makes you wonder what Divine Attributes they have upon the body =).

just now i guess, Neurologist are finally doing CAT scans and i think EKGs on people who meditate, and their results are that the Alpha Waves are Stronger, and other Brain Waves are Stronger and more Concetrated.... interesting, no? heh

what makes a person a certain religion
