oh Guru Ka Bana

ok so now today when i was takin ishnaan, the thought came in my head, how the Sikh Turban/Dastaar has difference significance for one's gender in Sikhi... Well when a Singh, male, ties his turban, He's at an age where the patka is not as "good" or "Mature", hence he does it for a cultural reason, i think? its kinda of like he's forced in to wearing it, like his parents, usually Father naggs him in to learning to tie it...
how ever when a Kaur, female sikh, ties it.... it means she's truely given her head to Guru Ji, meanin' she's hardcore followin the path of Sikhi... Well i'm not sure if' she's superstrict, but she's at least puttin' herself out on a limb... i just notice how well the girls that wear it are truely Wearing their Crown... as for a Singh well i dunno b/c i guess singhs that wear their turban, do it they do it for as a right of passage? i dunno just a thought.... any suggestions.. i mean don't get me wrong there alot of SInghs that ties their Turban to show they are fully giving their head to Guru Ji. But at the same time i wonder, what is a SIngh's equivalent to a Kaur's Bana? B/c i mean the Singh's Puggari isn't a sikh thing, its more or less a Punjabi thing... and well there are non-sikhs and non-punjabis that wear the Sikh Male style of Turban for ::cough:: bhangra ::cough:: you know, to them its just a dance.... would the male equivalent be a dhumalla? i wonder if this makes anysense....

I mean take for example well when a person looks at a Singh in his turban, they just think oh he's prolly at the right age for a pugg... prolly not to take in to consideration i guess his spirtuality.... but when a person see's a Kaur in Guru Ji's Bana, dastaar, they see wow now there's a Kaur who's given her Head to Guru Ji.... you know??
