Time passed so quickly. I have been in US for almost 3 weeks. During these days, I had experienced a lot. Even though it was not the first time I went abroad without my family,but I still have homesick for some time. Maybe I should not be that dependent, but whenever and wherever I am, family is always the place which I can rely on and miss so much.
Luckily, I had all my friends, group members, faculties, interns, professors full of my life here, so I got quite used to my life here.
Most lectures are nice, and let me know more about US.And at the same time, the level of my English was improved a lot.
In the dorm, I was so lucky to have three kind roomates. We lived together, cooked together, larghed together.I should say that I was so glad to know Ellen,Jessie and Sabrina, I think that the friendship will surely last for a long long long time.
The interns were sooooooooo nice. I knew that they really did a lot for us, driving us here and there, finding interesting places to fullfill our leisure time and so forth.And when we had certain trouble, you were always on our side. Thank you all, I am sure that I will remember you guys forever. Hoping that after we leave, we will have chance to meet again and again. Welcome to China! Welcome to Shanghai! Keep in touch!!!
Maybe it is too early to write down these things. Anyway, this is really one of most unforgetable summer in my life.

I just could not help being excited when I knew this news today, eventhough it was 10 days later. Mayday is my favorite band. I remember when I heard their song for the first time, that was when I was in middle school. At that time, they were not that popular, so I even did not know them. But their music left a deep impression on my mind. After several year, when they became popular in china mainland, I bought their album. After listening to their songs, I knew that they would be a longlasting band for me.
The reason why I like them is not because they are handsome or charming. I really love their music. The tunes was very nice, no matter it was rock or just some smooth music. But what I appreciate most is the lyrics. Not like most of the pop songs writing on love, they are songs are also about friendship and the attitude towards life. These songs always give me encouragement and confidence. When I was in senior three,the pessure of the college entrance examination was very high, the songs of mayday really gave me a lot. I also went to their concerts in Shanghai twice, their live performance made everyone excited and happy. So this october,they will come to shanghai again, to realize their dream of singing on the stage of Shanghai sports stadium which can hold 80 thousand people at one time. It is really a meaningful moment.Because, several years ago, a journalist said that mayday would never had the chance to stand on the stage of the stadium. Mayday did not give up when hearing this, they just tried their best to make music step by step. So there is a will there is a way, I will be happy to spend the exciting moment with mayday and all the fans. Looking forward to 10/20 in Shanghai!!!
Sometimes parents often against their children chasing the stars.But I think if the star can really make some good model to the public, there will be no disadventage their fans or the whole society.

Yesterday, we had three lectures on art, the painting,acting and jazz music. In fact, I had no talent on those things and even knew little about them. I remembered when I was a very little girl,my parents let me learn to play the piano. Unluckily, everytime I sat on the chair, I kept crying. So my parents had to give up this dream on me a month later. But yeserday when the artist was painting, and the actress was acting, I was still attracted by them. I thought that arts were really global languages. Even the outsiders could find something we need in them. Arts always brought us happiness and relaxation. When we confronted some difficulties, listening to some favorite music or just looking at some nice pictures or sceneries, we always can calm down and find such solutions.

Although after the day of hiking I got allergy, I still do not want to be upset for the rest few days in US. And thanks Julie for giving me the pills and cream, I think that all things will get better soon.
Monticello, with a history of 200 year was a very nice place to visit. It was the house of Thomas Jefferson,the philosopher of the American Revolution and the author of the Declaration of Independence. The surrounding there was peaceful and calm, with fresh air, green trees, all the things gave me a comfortable feeling. When I saw the whole house from outside, it seemed to be very big. But after I went inside, the rooms looked a little bit depressing. I did not know why I had this feeling. And I knew that Jefferson also used a lot of slaves in his house or farm. That fact was quite strange, because he was famous for " all men are created equall" and the same kinds of ideas, it was difficult to know why he still used slaves. Anyway, maybe that was he needed to do for managing such a large farm and house. No one is perfect,right?
The so called downtown tour was a bit boring. The shops there were not very attractive.So we four just walked along the road and found three chairs to sit. And it was very hot. I thought that it would be better to visit UVA, to see different university in US. Maybe in that way, we can have better understanding of American study.

This Saturday, we had a nice visit to Kati's home in Urbanna, a very beautiful town. We met her kind mom,little sister Grace and the cute cute cat Tiger. I felt that we got along with each other very well even though it was the first time we met. We sat around the table and talked freely, about our family, our studay and our country. At almost noon, we had a walk around the town. The people there were very hospitable. Almost everyone said"hi" to us. And when they knew that we would soon go to New York, they all gave us a lot of recommendations on where to go or how to take the subways. Luckily, one lady even gave us a lot of seeds of flowers. I thought that when I planted them after I went back to Shanghai, the memory of this summer might show as a movie in my mind.That will really be a great thing. After we saw the clear bay, we took a trolley bus tour around the whole town, I just could not use any words to discribe my nice feeling. The lunch dinner was delicious, we had crabcake and all of us was very full. We walked back to Kati's home and sat down again to chat. We let them saw the photos and told them the funny experience we had here, all of us just laught a lot. But time went so quickly, we left there at about 7pm. But I thought that it was not the end, because we left our contact information to Kati's mom,and she even said she would sent card or gifts to us someday. Thank you Kati, I just wanna say that it was a very very nice thing to know you and your family!
And today's hiking was also very exciting. We walked all the way around the lake. The trees ,lakes, birds all the nature things make me feel very fresh and comfortable.
What's more, when we came back to GRC, Ellen had already made dinner for us!!! And our group leader and groupmate ning brought soup to our dorm, luncky day!!!
And my cellphone is Ok now, so I can keep in touch with my family and friends whenever I want. haha>@<

I really wish to have a more casual blog that can bring me relaxation when I see it.
So for John and other guys who are interested in the issue of democracy in china or something like that, I think that we can have further discussion on the comments sector. And I had already put my opinion there!
