Cool! we were lucky to be grouped with Brian and went to his cousin's home. He told us it's also the first time for him to go them since they moved. it was a bit far from VCU. As we were driving farther, the dense houses disappeared. More grass and farmland came into view which I think it 's what America should look like before I came here-- a cozy small house , a piece of farmland with ripen fruits and vegetables.
in order to protect privacy, there are thick woods between each houses. Bryans are all very nice , friendly and of hospitality.
the 2 dogs there are cute. the "she" one is over 14 years old. surprising! they have just moved in , everything is not well prepared and finished. but it's ok, still very nice and homy. the 2 boys are a little bit shy at first. they are comletely not the kind that we have seen in American TV series--naughty, rebel...no , not a bit.
the father made Barbiq for us. I love the sausage. they tasted great. the "lunpper" we had that day it 's the best that since I came here. unforgetable!
luckily, their neighbor sent a homemade cookie as a gift for them, We shared it when playing the game named " pictionary" . Ben is very cleaver. He responded almost as soon as the picture draw out.
when we group won, he complaint that he hadn't learned the word" cell ",so.....^^ so cute.
it was late and raining , we had to say goodbye to Bryans.
