canoeing on JamesRiver

"I'll never canoe any more in my life!"
This was what Zhu Meng complaint when we couldn't do anything but sit in the canoe and keep rowing and rowing along the James River for almost 4 hours.
I'll never know one can have such a potentiality. Both of us didn't know how could we finally reach the destiny and lift the canoe up to the land~We were so tired and thirsty~

However, I was also ashamed of myself. While all of the Chinese students had to sit on the road to have a short rest, all of 4 Americans(including a girl) still worked hard, and it seemed like they still had a lot of energy. Chinese students have to spend most of the time on studying since they were very youny, so they have little ability to fight for life and survival. On the contract, Americans are always good at "solving problems". Whenever there is a accident, they will keep calm and handle it out.

We should shift our focuses a little bit onto the abilities in life.

I love Zhang Ai ling (我爱张爱玲)and some ending words

So tired of reading, hearing, speaking English, I desired to read some Chinese books so much. So I borrowed a book from my roommate Pu Ying. In the book, a famous novel that named "半生缘"attracted me a lot. Even before I read it, I already had the feel that it must be interesing. And it didn't disappoint me.

There is no complex plot. She just carefully described the changes of psychology in both lovers' mind. But I was so moved by that. It was as if I reexperienced my own loving and fell in love with my boyfriend once more. It's hard to say how good it is, only when you read by yourself, you could feel the magic in it~
HIGHLY RECOMMAND!

This is the last blog I write in VCU. I already begin to miss everything here even I still stay in the campus~ All the interns and teachers are kindhearted. I like them so much! Tomorrow morning, we'll leave for NY. I wish everyone here will have a happy life in the future!
Best Wishes!

PS:I will meet my father tomorrow in NY. I'm really looking forward to that! May we have a good time!
