The VCU Medical Center's new Critical Care Hospital is the subject of a half-hour television special this Saturday, Sept. 13, on WRIC-TV8 at 7 p.m. The show will spotlight the new hospital's technologies and enhancements that will benefit patient care and safety. Segments include an overview of the building and stories on patient care, patient safety and the impact the new hospital will have on Central Virginia. The show is hosted by Dr. Sheldon Retchin, CEO of the VCU Health System, and Mandy Setliff, director of strategy and marketing. The program was produced entirely in-house by the VCU Communications and Public Relations office and the VCU Health System's Department of Strategy and Marketing.
