Job Requirements: Candidate will work closely with the President and Chief Operating Officer to redesign, develop, and implement solutions for existing website. In addition, candidate should be a computer science, graphic, or information systems (MIS, BIS) major, or have knowledge of HTML, with working knowledge of PHP, and have the ability to work in PC environments.
Candidate will be asked to do the following:
-Create design prototypes including site navigation, and content layout for
corporate website
-Conduct usability, accessibility, browser, and user acceptance testing of web
applications
Utilize HTML, xHTML, and CSS to maintain the websites
Compensation: Internship credit (Check with your department to see if this internship eligible)
Hours: Flexible to accommodate credit requirements.

Selected candidate will work closely with the President and Chief Operating
Officer to redesign, develop, and implement solutions for management in design
and creation of marketing materials. In addition, must have the ability to work
in PC environments. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in design
for print and electronic media, concept development, pre-press production,
copywriting, and more.
Candidate will be asked to do the following:
-Create design prototypes content layout for a variety of marketing promotional
products (logos, web related materials, forms, etc.)
-Update print
collateral
-Utilize Illustrator to implement changes
Compensation: Internship credit
Hours: Flexible to accommodate credit requirements, but a commitment of approximately 20 hours a week is a must.

Primary Duties: • Assist in identifying the best media(s) to communicate the attributes of Tredegar's Surface Protection products. Options could include print media (brochures, newsletters), web sites, and electronic messages. • Assist in creating marketing materials for each media and developing a unified branding strategy for the portfolio of Surface Protection products. • Oversee the evaluation of vendors that will create the printed materials. • Identify and prioritize opportunities for Surface Protection by examining and researching previous sample requests received over the past two years for the Surface Protection business. Position: Senior Web Design Specialist, Creative Solutions Group
Reports to: Associate Director, Creative Solutions Group
Summary:
Create the look, feel, and user experience of the Corporate Executive Board's online products. The Senior Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining site design and executing brand standards on the web including typography, logos, color schema, CSS style sheets, icons and imagery per brand and optimized user experience standards.
Duties:
•Creating and maintaining "look and feel" of CEB Web products including Web sites, online tools and applications, and e-communications
•Responsible for navigational design and visual execution of online products, including enhancing the usability of existing products and translating new product requirements into aesthetically pleasing, highly-usable design solutions
•Creating test pages, templates, graphical elements for review and iteration
•Performing audits of existing materials
•Strengthening and maintaining visual integrity of CEB online brand
•Understanding and staying current with Web design standards
•Understanding and providing solutions to cross-browser and cross platforms compatibility issues with respect to site design
Skills:
Background and Experience:
•3-5 years experience in Web design
•BA in Graphic Design, Digital Arts, or related degree preferred
•Seasoned designer with experience on major site designs and redesigns
•Portfolio of Web design work, including HTML emails required
•Electronic learning products experience a plus
Design Skills:
•Strong conceptual and technical knowledge of layout, user interface design, typography, motion, information/content design, and color theory as it applies to interactive Web products.
Technical Skills:
•Advanced knowledge of design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, GoLive and Image Ready
•Web production skills (image optimization, cropping, and slicing)
•Comfort translating wireframes or prototypes into effective design comps
•Proficient in Dreamweaver, and/or the ability to code full sites or trouble-shoot code
•Intermediate/Advanced level of coding CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), XML, and XHTML
•Intermediate/Advanced level of coding Javascript and JQuerry or AJAX plug-ins to enhance user experience features
•Working knowledge of the architecture and technology platforms behind websites
•Ability to test the functionality and usability of Web sites
•Basic understanding of CMS such as Interwoven, Eloqua, or SalesForce.com
•Fluent with Mac and PC platforms
•Basic understanding of the MS Office suite of products, with an emphasis on Excel
