In addition, candidate should be a computer science, graphic, or information systems (MIS, BIS) major, or have knowledge of HTML, with working knowledge of PHP, and have the ability to work in PC environments.
Candidate will be asked to do the following:
-Create design prototypes including site navigation, and content layout for
corporate website
-Conduct usability, accessibility, browser, and user acceptance testing of web
applications
Utilize HTML, xHTML, and CSS to maintain the websites

and creation of marketing materials. In addition, must have the ability to work
in PC environments. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in design
for print and electronic media, concept development, pre-press production,
copywriting, and more.
Candidate will be asked to do the following:
-Create design prototypes content layout for a variety of marketing promotional
products (logos, web related materials, forms, etc.)
-Update print
collateral
-Utilize Illustrator to implement changes
Compensation: Internship credit
Hours: Flexible to accommodate credit requirements, but a commitment of approximately 20 hours a week is a must.

The National Council of Churches is the leading ecumenical organization among Christians in the United States. Position Description:
The Communications Intern, based in New York City, will assist the communication staff in meeting communication needs of NCC program staff, researching news and feature material for the public and denominational media, with a focus on updating the NCC website and helping develop appropriate web-based materials as requested, promoting NCC programs within the faith community, and assisting with the work of the NCC Communication Commission .

The Institute for Humane Studies Production Internship Program places interns in all these areas at industry leaders and new, cutting-edge companies. Participants in our program typically receive:
