OR and business intelligence

About a month ago, an article appeared in Intelligent Enterprise about the relationship between OR and business intelligence (BI), and why they seem to be in different communities.

The article includes four signs that you could benefit from OR:

  1. You face complex decisions.
  2. You're having problems with business processes.
  3. Your organization is not making the most of its data.
  4. You're troubled by risk.
