LANDesk Migrating to New Database Server

The LANDesk system will be migrated from DSS11 to DSS15 on Tuesday, September 16th starting at 7:00AM and ending by 12:00PM (noon). During this time, some LANDesk tools and resources will not be available. This change is expected to greatly enhance the responsiveness of the system, including the LANDesk@VCU website and the management consoles.

UPDATE: Migration to the new database server was completed Sept.16, and final testing was wrapped up Monday, September 22. Several networking issues for users of the LANDesk Management Console remain in the hands of VCUnet to complete (port ACLs and Firewall rules were not correctly copied from the old database server to the new), and research is underway to determine what was missed.
