UPDATED: LANDesk Patch Addresses SOFTMON and VULSCAN Resource Issues »

Beginning on Monday July 27 a critical patch for LANDesk clients will be deployed to all managed systems. The patch corrects a resource allocation problem with some components of the LANDesk agent software, specifically SOFTMON.EXE and VULSCAN.EXE. After the patch is installed, these components should resume normal operation and no longer consume large amounts of CPU and/or system memory resources.
