a visit to Jefferson's Monticello

Today we went to Monticello where Jefferson's family used to reside. It is built on a mountain and is embraced by green trees,so I like the environment very much.We had a tour guide which is a very friendly old woman and she was surprised that we came from China.
I was impressed that the back of the nickel coin is actually the house we visited today.Though we couldn't take any photos inside,I can pretty well remember the settings inside the house.I like some paintings Jefferson hang in his bedroom.
We went shopping again this afternoon and in the mean time,me,Zhichao and Liu Jia dined at a Chinese restaurant which was very good.I had Hunan chicken with rice and cola.
I am going to write some postcards to mum and dad tonight.Cheers!

Hi, Becky, I went to a small museum today. Strangely I met two groups of hispanohablante people. There was a Chinese guide, whose spanish was pretty good, though from time to time she couldn't find the proper words. Some of them bought paper umbrellas. I'm having fun here, but no more Gotheborg Ship is within sight. Wish you happy!!!!!

Hello! Wow! It's so cool that you are visiting all these interesting places in the US. I wish I can visit Moticello someday also. Not only Monticello of course... all those places which are a part of the North-American history. A shame thought that people are not allowed to take pictures. It makes me feel so disapointed, cause, for me, half of any trip are the photos! lol :D
Hope you're still great over there :)
Hugs from down here ;)
