Our intern would have 3-4 tasks immediately:

- Finish website with my assistance-linking key vendors, put on testimonials, etc.
- Create a marketing game plan to attract more state agency business through our SWAM qualified division.
-Set up email blast for Bagboy(our sister company).
- Create a marketing piece/webpage for our new automotive selling concept-uniform programs, new car gifts, service gifts for client retention, special event gifts, USB flash drive program for service records. We will be calling on all major dealerships from NY-FL with a targeted approach. This marketing piece would have testimonials from current clients. We will unveil our new USB idea.

Description of Organization: Grow Interactive is an innovative design and development firm, creating customized solutions for clients of all types of sizes - from entertainment industry to mom and pop. Current and past clients include Lollapalooza, Office Max, Gamefly, CMT, Namco, and NASA among others. We also have a Wii and a resident dog named Dudley.

Intern Responsibilities
: Internships are available for both design and development. Responsibilities will vary with qualifications but will range from content entry to design, development, and concepting for a wide range of projects.

Intern Qualifications:
Interns interested in a design focus should have an established talent and proficiency in any of the following: Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and/or After Effects. Development interns should have a working knowledge of 100% CSS websites and some combination of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and/or AJAX. All other proficiencies (especially those with a focus on larger thinking or agency-related skills) a great plus.

STR (Solutions That Run) Software is a global business-to-business software provider with over twenty years in the industry. Create repository of new logos (multiple sizes for web and print) using existing design

Intern Qualifications:

Experience and proficiency with Adobe CS2 – primarily Photoshop and Illustrator

2007 SUMMER MUNICIPAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The City of Norfolk will be accepting applications for participation in the 2007 City of Norfolk Summer Municipal Internship Program. The City's Municipal Internship Program is a highly popular program with a history of attracting students on a national scale. The program's goal is to provide meaningful curriculum-related experience in a professional working environment. Students interested in or considering careers in public service are encouraged to apply.

PROGRAM OPPORTUNITIES:

Internship positions will be available for an eight-week period beginning in the first part of June and ending in August. Participants will be compensated at a rate of $8.25/hr. for undergraduate students and $10.30/hr. for graduate students. The City of Norfolk offers a wide range of careers for almost every major and career occupation therefore all majors are encouraged to apply. Project areas students will be selected for include but are not limited to:
