AJT Study Abroad/Internship Program

Americas Journalism Training, Inc. is as Study Abroad/Internship program in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The AJT program was founded in close partnership with the world-renown Missouri School of Journalism in 2005. AJT was designed with input from journalism professors, journalists in U.S. Hispanic cities and foreign correspondents throughout Latin America.

AJT hosts small groups of students, focusing on individual attention and journalism internships that meet students' specific career interests with Argentina's top media outlets. AJT courses can help students earn college credit in Spanish, Journalism and with their internships.

The AJT program offers the following components:

• Interactive city tour/ Spanish refresher
• Fully furnished home-stay apartment with phone, high-speed Internet and cable
• Internship (News Editorial, Public Relations, Magazine, Advertising, Photojournalism, Online/ Convergence & Broadcast)
• Intensive Spanish immersion
• Weekly Spanish courses
• International Journalism Seminars with a professional journalist
• Airport pick-up/ drop-off
• Argentine travel packages to take full advantage of your stay

AJT Regular Programs in the Spring, Summer and Fall begin the third Monday of January and August (16 weeks), and the third Monday of May (12-weeks).

AJT also offers Spanish Intensive programs for those with little or no Spanish experience, and Self-Design programs where a student can pick his/her start and end date and program options.
