Teacher's Discovery Writing Internship
Journalism Intern
This internship is for class credit, and is open to any student with good writing and research abilities.
Teacher's Discovery is developing an electronic U.S. History textbook that presents important events in journalistic style.
Interns will be writing news stories based upon historical events for the textbook. Article topics will sometimes be assigned, but interns are expected to follow subjects they find interesting.
This internship can be conducted online, or in person. Interns will write three article-length pieces per week.
Distance interns will be expected to check-in with progress once a day, Monday-Friday, via email.
