ChildFund International -- Video Intern

ChildFund International exists to help deprived, excluded and vulnerable children have the capacity to become young adults, parents and leaders who bring lasting and positive change in their communities. ChildFund works in 31 countries, assisting approximately 15.2 million children and family members regardless of race, creed or gender.

Intern responsibilities
Should be familiar with iMovie, Sound Track Pro or Final Cut. Using one of these programs, the intern will edit long video into short videos for the ChildFund YouTube Channel.

The intern will storyboard and develop needed creatives and copy with final approval from appropriate ChildFund staff.

The individual also will review photos and assist with cataloging as part of ChildFund's digital asset management system.

Intern qualifications
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Strong desire to improve the well-being of children in developing countries
Excellent writing and communication skills

Other
This is an unpaid internship and is available for the fall 2010 and spring 2011 semesters. Hours are flexible between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. A minimum of 15 hours/week is required.
