Graphic Designer, Food Marketing Institute

The Food Marketing Institute is an exciting trade association responsible for providing a broad range of services, including research, education, industry relations and public affairs on behalf of its 1500 members. We are looking for a Graphic Designer to provide accurate, high caliber and top quality design and project support to FMI as a member of the Marketing and Communications team. Specific duties include: designing promotional materials for all departments of FMI from initial concept to finished product, managing development of and adherence to FMI style guide in conjunction with broad brand identity initiatives, participating in marketing, design and production meetings– includes working with copywriters, printers, designers, project managers, and website designers, developing creative briefs to guide and clarify design projects, using a wide range of media, including photography and computer aided design, and assisting in selection of and coordination with outside graphic designers and printers.

The ideal candidate will have college or formal graphic design training, at least three years of equivalent, professional work experience, proficiency on the Macintosh Platform with Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, In-Design, PageMaker, Quark Xpress, and Microsoft Office products, ability to organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks with attention to detail under tight deadlines, and the desire to work with a great team!

Responsible for directing newscasts and other programs as assigned. Will also cooridnate and produce any pre-production elements in conjunction with the news departments.

Coast Guard Reserve Public Affairs Position Now Available

I would like to extend an opportunity to your students in the PRSSA. The Coast Guard Reserves is looking for individuals that are interested in Public Relations to work two days a month. Upon joining the Coast Guard they would receive additional training in the Public Affairs field as well as receive $4500 tuition assistance for college.
