The Times-Dispatch is looking for a part-time editorial assistant to help us expand our wildly popular high school sports website, HSxtra.

Duties include working with coaches and team managers to gather information -- including game results on deadline. Knowledge of sports and the internet are a must.

The successful candidate will have excellent people skills, will be very organized and will thrive in a busy work environment where multitasking is the norm. Some college. No newspaper experience necessary but knowledge of sports and good grammar skills are necessary. Computer skills and a friendly, efficient telephone demeanor are required.
