Picked up from student round table, high school lesson plan by Sarah Crest. Using Adobe Photoshop studying Surrealism. Discussing settings and dreamscape, taking a familiar space and recreating it. In the lesson four classes are designated to research. Students take personal spaces and takes digital images, using photoshop to manipulate
Luiz: Showing children how to do shape, ages prek-2nd grade. Using basic photoshop and/or illustrator. Students are given opportunities to discover the basic elements in the programs studying shape and/or colors.
Soh-Hyoun: Eisenhower School, students make their own broadcasting every morning. Broadcasting is student made. Showed a teacher's trip and discussion with teacher that is visiting China. Program is entirely student made and edited.
Jan: The Kazoom quilt is a great study for 2-point perspective. This is a collaborative project that brings together a variety of layers/environments. Zoom quilt 2 is shown, done through inter-locking layers in flash. Bold red ribbon connects the different layers.
Katie: Digital Harold, in session handed out a poem and demonstrated a way to use it through IMOVIE. Telling tales with video.
Dr. Buffington: Recreating ads and promoting a positive version of it. Creating a spoof out of a original ad. Using these Spoof Ads as examples for future photoshop projects.
