INNOVATE 2007

Today I went to Innovate 2007 - a technology conference in Richmond, VA. It was fascinating to see all the different, realistic and unrealistic, educational applications of technology. My co-worker and I got to try out a Segway, I walked in a giant hamster ball and felt motion sick after about 2 minutes, and I saw some fascinating examples of virtual reality.

This makes me realize that I can do more with this blog. One idea I have is to actually start a blogroll and list the blogs of the people who I met. It almost seems like having a blog now is analogous to what having a web site was a few years ago. Hopefully I can post more about it soon. But, for now, look at this link Global Kids Digital Mdeia Initiative

I missed the conference. Thank you for posting good information.

It is amazing that how many educators already use Second Life actively. I hope I can join and experience educational conference or discussion in Second Life.
