Craziness
Someone recently proposed to his girlfriend by hacking into an online game named Bejeweled that she plays. When she reached a certain score, his proposal message came onto her screen. CNN covered this story.
What are your thoughts on this? Is this an example of Web 2.0? How is the company's reaction indicative of the time in which we live?

Not only is this a fancy pants version of tettris but wow how amazing to be able to hack in to your girlfriends most favorite thing. I think the companies reaction is valid from a marketing standpoint. I could and would never hack into a game but now that this event ocoured I have heard of the game and even seen what it looks like on cnn.com

I'm not sure this is an example of web 2.0 as the hacker used traditional coding methods to do his hacking. The reaction of the company doesn't really surprise me.... us geeks stick together.
