Is NASCAR's popularity leveling off?

I don't believe that interest in Nascar is levelling off or "peaking", but the appeal to overseas markets is obviously lacking due to Europe's fascination with F1. Grabbing some foreign attention would boost TV revenues and bring new money and attraction to the sport.
