As an older female, I am anxious to see more women involved in racing. I want my granddaughters to have opportunities that I had never had. I've read Life at Full Throttle by Janet Guthrie. Ms. Guthrie describes the prejudice that she faced in Indy and especially NASCAR. I don't see that racing has changed much since Ms. Guthrie's experience. What can a fan do to encourage more participation by women in NASCAR?
