RN-BS Expands to Fredericksburg!

VCU School of Nursing has received a grant from the Mary Washington Hospital Foundation to expand its RN-BS Weekend Program to the Fredericksburg area. Dr. Martha W. Moon, RN-BS Program Director reports, "This grant is the culmination of a long planning process involving VCU and stakeholders in the Fredericksburg area. There is a lot of interest in having BS-prepared nurses serving the patients in the Medicorp service area. We are delighted to be working closely with our colleagues there to make the RN-BS program more available to nurses in the area."

Classes begin in August 2007 and will be held at the University of Mary Washington College of Graduate and Professional Studies in Stafford County. Classes meet one weekend per month, and students may complete their BS in 3 semesters. For more information see the VCU School of Nursing webpage or contact Millie Flinn at (804) 828-5181.
