Alumna Publishes Her Second Novel

Georgene Roth (N’71) dedicated many of her years to working with dementia patients in nursing homes. During her career, Mrs. Roth became concerned with the public being led to believe that all residents with dementia had Alzheimer's disease. In response she has written her second book, Living Beyond. This book, written in a novel form, is the story of Edith, a registered nurse who is wrongly admitted to a dementia unit after suffering a stroke while teaching staff to care for residents with dementia.
