This January, eight students from the VCU School of Nursing traveled to Belize to provide medical care. All of the students were part of VCU's Nursing Students Without Borders organization. During their trip, the students volunteered at clinics and schools providing health screenings, physical assessments and other tasks under the guidance of a physician or registered nurse.
