Fall Semester Student Transit Passes

Full-time students may obtain the student transit pass at the Parking Office on either campus through Tuesday, December 1. The pass is valid through December 31, 2009. The transit pass is non-transferable and must be requested each semester.

Construction on 13th Street

Beginning November 9, Dominion Virginia Power will be working on the south stairwell exit of the Critical Care Hospital. During this time, the scaffolding stair tower will be removed and the traffic pattern will be altered on 13th Street. The work will take approximately 2 months.

Street closures are not anticipated at this time and all D-Deck subscribers will still be able to access Marshall Street.

VCU Campus Connector Route Change Effective Monday, October 12th

Effective Monday, October 12, the VCU Campus Connector is going back to its original route down Main Street toward the Monroe Park Campus. As you may recall, the original route was changed due to construction on Main Street. Now that most of the work is complete, the Campus Connector will be more efficient for riders, and the stops will be in more practical locations for students traveling between campuses.

Please note that the route will no longer service the Grace Street corridor, and the stop between 7th and 8th streets on Marshall Street will be removed. New stops have been added near the School of Business and the School of Engineering. To see a comparison of the routes and pickup/drop off locations, please click here.

Service hours will remain the same, beginning at 6:30 a.m. until 2 a.m., Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. on weekends.

If you have any questions about this change, please contact the VCU Transit Coordinator Miriam Maddux at 828-2421 or at madduxmf@vcu.edu.
