VCU offers a free transit service from the Monroe Park Campus to the MCV Campus, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. and on the weekends from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. You must show your VCUCard in order to ride the bus for free. Transit stops are located throughout both campuses and each stop is serviced every 10-15 minutes. Students who live in the Fan District, Zone 1 can purchase a $5 weekend parking permit, which will be honored in the FF, RR, and TT lots on the Monroe Park Campus, subject to space availability. For more information, contact VCU Parking Customer Service at 828-8726 or via email at parking@vcu.edu.
The VCU Medical Center Evening Route 89 will discontinue operations on Thursday, June 30. For those currently utilizing this bus service and looking for another option, the VCU Security Escort Service provides a safe method of traveling around the MCV Campus in the evening.
Effective Monday, March 28, two GRTC Express routes, the 96 Richmond/Fredericksburg and 94 Ashland/Richmond will be discontinued.
