eLASTIC arts island in Second Life

VCU's Department of Art Education has an island in Second Life now. eLASTIC arts currently is not publicly available. Two classes worked on the island during the fall 2007 semester. Next semester a graduate students will also be working along with her classes. For me, I still see it as an exciting place to build. The social networking is not as important for me right now, but I am sure that is because my time is spent building and maintaining the island rather than exploring SL as I did before creating and recreating the island. Time is the biggest obstacle, but I am hopeful.
