Richmond Events Added to News, RSS Feeds, and Blogs

A Richmond Events category has been added to the News, RSS Feeds, and Blogs portlet. The feeds in this category will let you to stay up-to-date with local breaking news, entertainment, restaurant reviews, and more.

This category replaces the Richmond.com category.

Changes to Reporting Center Single Sign-On

The Legacy Reporting Center has been removed as a default Single Sign-On link within myVCU. This link is still available for faculty and staff wanting reports on legacy systems data. It can be added by clicking Personalize on the Single Sign-On portlet and selecting the Legacy Reporting Center option.

The new Banner Reporting Center has become a default link.

Ruckus Single Sign On Link

A single sign on link into Ruckus.com has been added to the portal. You can add this link by clicking Personalize on the Single Sign On portlet.

Ruckus.com is the leader in the digital media space offering college students unlimited free downloads from a music library of over 2.5 Million tracks and over 4,000 movies and TV programs. Ruckus music downloads are 100% legal, virus free and available to anyone who has a valid VCU email address. Faculty and staff can take advantage of this service for a low monthly fee.

Single Sign-On Link into Banner Reporting Center Added to myVCU

The Banner Reporting Center has been added as an additional option in the Single Sign-On portlet, giving VCU Faculty and Staff one click access into the system.

This SSO link can be added by clicking Personalize on the Single Sign-On portlet and selecting the Banner Reporting Center option. The old Reporting Center remains as an optional link for those wishing to use the previous system.

VCU Blog Added to Single Sign-On Portlet

A link to the VCU Blog has been added to the single sign-on links portlet. This link can be added to the portlet by clicking Personalize on the portlet. If you've never used the blog, just login and your account will be automatically created.
