collection

These days in America, the most serious thing I have done is to collect the coins.
Be affected by QZ, I tried to collect different quarters.
Now through the hardwork with the coke machine, I have collected 43 coins in all, haha, and there's only 2 left.
Congratulations to myself and go on my collection!

baseball game

WONDERFUL!
Last week we gave up the tour to an art museum and choose to watch a baseball game, it's really a good decision, for that it's really a wonderful game.
It's the first time I watch a baseball game in the statium, although I was not very clear about the game rule, but I was firsty impressed by the atomsphere there, so high, and very American.
The most impressed scene is that in the middle break of the game, all the audience stood up and sang a song together"take me out to the game", so high and so nice. While it's a little pity that I haven't a DV to record them all, but I will remeber that song that game and that night.
I can't use more words to describe the detail of the baseball game, but thanks to the game, now I know the rules of baseball, thanks to the game, now I know this famous and nice American song.
Also I will say thank you to our intern Kitty, thank you for your driving us 4 to the game.

home visit

It's very lucky that we have a chance to make a home visit, and what more lucky is that our group met the family Nicolus.
Last Saturday afternoon, they picked us up at GRC and began the tour of home visit. While they didn't drive us to their house directly, but invited us to play mini golf with their family first. It's my first time to play this game, but really very interesting. After the game, we were more familiar with each other. Their family have 5 people, dad mom and 3 daughter, and their third daughter was even adopted from China! What a coinsidence!
And then, we finally arrived in their house. To my surprise, their house is built in a forest, sooooo cool! There're little neighbour beside them, and so they can enjoy their happy family life in a nice space totally belong to theirselves. It's a very big and nice house, and even have a swimming pool in the garden, so we also swam and play water ball together there.
At last was a typical American family dinner, turkey, vegetable and patato salad, delicious! And we talked a lot about something in China and America.
Well, it's a nice day and nice family.
Thank you very much, Nicolus'

swimming

Swimming in MCV campus of VCU is really a very nice thing.
On the one hand that all is free, there's free campus bus to there, and it's free to swim in the pool or use any facilities.
On the other hand that the pool there is really very nice, the pool is very big, water is very clean, and the most important fact is that there're little people swimming in it, so that we can totally enjoy it ourselves.haha
And thanks to this nice pool, I can escape from our poor bathroom and have a shower.
So it's a nice thing to swim in the MCV pool every afternoon.zan!

SOS from our bathroom

The pipes of our bathroom were terribly blocked these days.
Then now for our dorm, to take a shower become so hard that we have to wait for at least 1~2h to let water drain, so terrible.
Where can I seek for help?
How much does it cost to repair the pipes?
Sigh...a big big trouble...oh no><
