Sunday morning I went to the church. Thank Brian for giving me information! I sent him a short message at late night, to my surprise, he replied immediately! I really like the Mass. When I listened to the minister I noticed that the stories he was telling us were modern. It reminded me of some historical period in china (for example, Tang Dynasty), Buddhism had use the same way to do missionary work. It is very interesting to think about the difference and common ground of the two religions. Actually I was very interested in religions. I’ve read the Wondrous Dharma Lotus flower Sutra, Vimalakirtinirdesa Sutra and Vajra Prajna Paramita Sutra and a hall for worshipping Buddha in my home. And I read the whole Bible in great interest in last year. It’s fabulous! I love the psalms, sometimes I feel they just speak out what I want to say.
“Taste and See” made me shed tears. To be more exact, what made me shed tears was the whole Mass. The atmosphere and the sentences from the Bible had aroused my religious feelings. At that moment I felt I truly am a fanatic once more. (=v=)
Actually my opinion is that every religion (if they can be called a true religion) comes from the desire to express the love to the ultimate truth. Even if you don’t believe there is something unspeakable, something supernatural in the universe, you can also understand the feeling of loving the truth.

You would be a fanatic. And Buddhism will bless you forever.

It must be very impressive!I really wanna see it.It's not easy for us to see it in our country today.I don't know how religions affect those countries, but our homeland is really really out of control without religions.'Communism' is very powerful, but it's not spiritual enough.(We are hollow inside......)Anyway you did a great job there.Your words were still 'fanatic' and your religious feelings were quite abstract though.I don't really understand how you felt during the ritual.I think maybe it's quite similar to the feelings I have when I listen to those Iron Maiden songs.Haha!Rock'n'roll and heavy metal music are religious(and paganish) too. Anyway, congratulations!
