Power Systems Maintenance Will Affect Network Connectivity in Sanger Hall (Oct. 24th)

VCU Facilities Management is taking power systems down in Sanger Hall this Saturday, October 24, 2009, beginning at 6 a.m. for maintenance. This maintenance window is scheduled to run until 12 p.m. noon on Saturday. During this maintenance window parts of Sanger Hall will lose network service.  Generators onsite will keep network routers and other critical equipment located in Sanger Hall operational during this outage but network switch equipment that feed network service to individual Sanger Hall floors will go offline during this planned maintenance window.


Please contact the VCU Help Desk (828-2227, help@vcu.edu) should network service not be restored after 12 p.m.
