VPN Users Must Comply With Clean Access

Beginning on December 4, all users of the University approved virtual private network (VPN) application to access secure University resources via the internet must comply with the Clean Access initiative at the University. The Clean Access system will ask the VPN user to download the Clean Access Agent application that ensures the user's computer has sufficient virus protection and system updates installed before that machine can access the network. If a computer is found to not meet the these requirements the users is informed about what they need to do to update their computer to meet these specifications. This ensures safe computing on the VCU network for everyone and assists in protecting all of our sensitive data. For more information on Clean Access go to www.ts.vcu.edu/security/ca/ or contact the Technology Services Help Desk at 828-2227.
