UPDATE2 (1/18/08-10 a.m.): Network Services stabilized the Theater Row connection about 7 p.m. last night but the connection became unstable again this morning. Staff is continuing to work to resolve the situation. As a result, there will be network disruptions between 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. today as work on the laser devices that provide network connectivity for Theater Row are re-aligned again.

UPDATE: There will be network disruptions to Basement and floors 1 through 4 of Theater Row Building while the laser network connections are realigned. It is hoped that this will solve the problem.

The departments located in Theater Row have been experiencing network connectivity issues since earlier this morning. Network Services is aware of the problem and is investigating the problem. This may be a weather related issue but we will not know for sure until it is safe to put staff on the roof of the facility.
