Headache:(

After class this afternoon six of us who arrived here late took a campus tour lead by Brian and Jay.We finally get to know what every nice looking building is used for.
And then we bought some fresh cabbage at Ucrops. On our way hurried back to dorm to catch up other guys going to the planetarium I suffered kind of heatstroke. My head began to ache after that and I had been sleeping right after we get back from the planetarium. It is really killing me:( Hopefully when I get uo tomorrow I will get better.

I made some food all by myself

It's been a long time since the last time I made something to eat for myself.I guess it was jin my junior high school that with mom gone to work far from home during the summer vacation I had nothing else to eat for lunch except those junk food.So mom taught me some basic chinense dish that are easy to prepare. The first one is fried eeg with sweet tomato.I think most of us who can cook learnt this dish first as it is a classical one.
But unfortunately I didn't have enough time to find where eggs and tomatos are when we went to wal-mart last time. All we got is some mushroom frozen baken and some cauliflower(but it's green.cauliflower is yellow.I just can't find its name on my dictionary.anyway... when you see the pic you konw it is:)
When I got hungry I felt like I could eat everything!Mushrooms are very easy to cook and tastes freshy.First I put some oil in the pan.Leave the pan to be heated while cut mushrooms into pieces.Throw them into boiling oil and open the door and exhaust fan so as not to trigger the fire alarm:)A guy from the other room did trigger the fir alarm when he was frying his egg into a black one.He make so much smoke and I wonder how he can bear the noise of the alarm and still cooking his black egg. When I first walk into our dorm my ears began to hurt because of the noise. All right forget about the poor boy.
The second thing I cooked is those frozen baken. Thanks god we have microwave oven in our dorm.Otherwise I don't how long it would take to unfreeze it.As baken is salted I just fried them until they roll up like waves of the beautiful ocean~~
"The green cauliflowers" are also easy to cook.Just thow them into boiling water and put some salt in.After about 5 min they will taste good.

Obiously these are far than enough to stuff my stomach,I baked a prepared pizza bought from wal-mart.Before I could take a fuul picture of It my roomate and I had already eat half of it :P

Big difference in bowling between China and USA

_MG_0962.jpg

After a fancy dinner made by our great cook-Guo jj we went to bowling tonight. What shock me most is that bowling seems to be a very cool sport in USA.But in china only those middle aged man often go bowling.Bowling is acting like kind of relaxiation for bussiness man.For example my father is crazy about bowling. He's a member of a bowling alley near our home.He keeps a record in one of the lanes at 258 points:)So luckily I sometimes go there with him and learned some skills.I was nervious at first.I did much better later and got 154 points.
At the bowling hall they play some rock music, which makes you feel powerful when you are throwing the ball towards the target. I think that's the biggest difference.Another thing is that there's a bar in the alley which is quiet convinient.
But I still don't understand why american young people like bowling. It's slow and not so exciting .I'm really looking forward to playing tennis~Hopefully I can find a racket.
