sitting in the tiny teeny dorm, gazing at my computer....

I really miss all of you

time flies unbelievably fast, and i can still remember the day all of you guys came to the airport to welcome us.

it's hot in beijing, and dusty. My bed was covered with dust when i climed up to sleep last night. How I miss the AC in US. It's better to be cold than hot.

Tomorrow evening, I will take the train home. it will take me 11 hours. Fortunately, I can have a good sleep there, as long as there's no baby crying. Last time I took the train, there was a baby crying all night long. It nearly killed me...

I don't know how many of you will still use the blog.
Anyway, I like the programme, I like all you guys.

Haha, we really had a fabulousd dinner last night.
Many many thanx to John and his nice big family.
We had a Vietnamese style hot pot, which was really really good. It reminded me of Chinese hot pot. U know, since I came to VCU, I hadn't had a decent meal. But the dinner yesterday, delicious!
Thanx to Lan. She is a good mother, and she remindes me of my mother. We were so happy together.

Father and two sons were showing us around their house. We had a good walk after the dinner.They had a pretty vege garden in the back yard, which provided a lot kinds of vege.

it's really interesting and relaxing to have two Chinese giving lectures this morning.

The banker....serious and "cautious". He reminds me of Dr. Jiang of my IL class. I once asked Dr. Jiang about The Incident after class, but he was just using those equivocal words, trying to escape.(Anyway, what i was expecting?? Truth??)

The banker answered our questions nicely. However, sometimes, I felt that he was kinda reluctant to talk about something.
I donna know. BANKER.......maybe there are sth they cannot tell.

Dr. Yang was really CUTE. He gave a lecture about how to adapt to the new culture. Chinese!! Though he speaks with a strong accent, 't is still intersting, fun. He comes from

Huge Company. He was kind.

I am really looking forward to the lecture in the afternoon.

I am really worried about the essay due on Aug. 3rd.

My teacher really LOVED Colonial Williamsburg so much, but I didn't. It's a BIG place for Americans. It is where they defeated the Engish. They won!!!!
But to me, it's.....not that beautiful. I don't like the sand and shell floor. It looked dusty and ashy. We visited the governer's mansion. It is called PALACE. palace????!!!!!
But it is not like palace at all. They didn't even decorate the ceiling.

I think it's just so so. Most of the items are outdated and I really hate the tax here.

The York Designer Outlet is much much much better.

I highly recommend it!!! Next time you visit England, save your money and go to york designer outlet!!
